Die Arbeit bleeding love ist im Rahmen des praktischen Teil meiner Bachelorarbeit im Winter 2022/23 entstanden. In der Theorie bleeding love - eine Reise zur Menstruation erläuterte ich unter Anderem die Wurzeln der Tabuisierung der menschlichen Menstruation, in der westlichen Gesellschaft, anhand Paradigmen welche in der Ideologie des Christentum verbreitet wurden. Der Fokus, in sowohl der theoretischen als auch praktischen Auseinandersetzung, liegt auf Sichtbarmachung von Diversität sowie dem Aufzeigen von Diskriminierung und Tabus innerhalb des Tabus. Parallel und ergänzend zur Fotoarbeit habe ich das Magazin BLEED magazine entwickelt, in welchem ich unterschiedliche Inhalte und Artikel von diversen Autor:innen und Künstler:innen, zur Aufklärung um Menstruation, kuratierte und gestaltete sowie selbst entwickelte.

The work bleeding love emerged as part of the practical part of my bachelor thesis in winter 2022/23. In the theory bleeding love - a journey to menstruation I explained, among other things, the roots of the taboo of human menstruation, in western society, based on paradigms that were spread in the ideology of christianity. The focus, in both the theoretical and practical work, is on making diversity visible and clearly pointing out discrimination and taboos within the taboo. Parallel and complementary to the photographic work, I developed the magazine BLEED magazine, in which I curated and designed different content and articles from various authors and artists, for the education around menstruation, as well as developed myself.
