Das BLEED magazine ist im Rahmen des praktischen Teil meiner Bachelorarbeit im Winter 2022/23 entstanden. In der Theorie bleeding love - eine Reise zur Menstruation erläuterte ich unter Anderem die Wurzeln der Tabuisierung der menschlichen Menstruation, in der westlichen Gesellschaft, anhand Paradigmen, welche in der Ideologie des Christentum verbreitet wurden. Der Fokus, in sowohl der theoretischen als auch praktischen Auseinandersetzung, liegt vorwiegend auf Sichtbarmachung von Diversität sowie dem Aufzeigen von Diskriminierung und Tabus innerhalb des Tabus. Das BLEED magazine ist als feministisches Aufklärungsmagazin zu verstehen. Darin habe ich vorwiegend bestehende Artikel und Interviews von diversen Künstler:innen und Autor:innen kuratiert und gestaltet. Durch diese redaktionelle Entscheidung konnte ein breites Potpourri an Meinungen, Erfahrungen und Wahrnehmungen entstehen und vermittelt werden.

Parallel und ergänzend zum Magazin habe ich die fotografische Arbeit bleeding love entwickelt.

BLEED magazine was created as part of the practical part of my bachelor thesis in winter 2022/23. In the theory bleeding love - a journey to menstruation I explained, among other things, the roots of the taboo of human menstruation in western society, based on paradigms that were spread in the ideology of christianity. The focus, in both the theoretical and practical discussion, is mainly on making diversity visible and pointing out discrimination and taboos within the taboo. BLEED magazine is a feminist educational magazine. Within I have mainly compiled and designed existing articles and interviews by various artists and authors. Through this editorial decision, a broad potpourri of opinions, experiences and perceptions could be created and conveyed.

Parallel and complementary to the magazine I have developed the photographic work bleeding love.
